Obituary for Wayne K. Peckenpough

Wayne K. Peckenpaugh, age 71 of Spring Grove, passed away on December 29, 2020. He was born on September 24, 1949, in South Gate, CA to Paul and Eunice Peckenpaugh.
On September 29, 1990, he married his best friend, Suzanne Hein.

Wayne worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry for many companies throughout his career. In his leisure time, he enjoyed spending his time outdoors boating, fishing, camping or hunting. He was an automotive enthusiast who visited many classic car clubs throughout the communities. Each year, Wayne along with his brother, Roger, looked forward to their scenic motorcycle rides across the country. Wayne had an extraordinary knack for mechanics and needing to know how things worked. He was very creative at making all sorts of gadgets in his spare time. His family portrayed him as their own personal MacGyver. Wayne was full of patriotism and posed a great devotion towards our country and expressed great gratitude to all our veteran’s. Wayne was a loving husband, dad, brother, and a doting scrappy pappy to his grandkids.
He was loved by all and will be missed by many.

Wayne leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Suzanne; daughters, Stacey (Matthew) Tieszen, Kari Berger, Katelyn Peckenpaugh, Kelly Peckenpaugh; grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Ashlen, Kaden; brother, Roger (Dubelza) Peckenpaugh; sister Joyce Peckenpaugh.
Preceded by his parents; brother, Paul; sisters, Cherryl, Janet.
